HSA Third Level Safety in Construction Competition 2013

The competition is for undergraduates of construction-related programmes in third level institutions. The aim of the competition is to provide an environment where undergraduate students can collaborate and work together to enhance, develop and embed their knowledge and understanding of health and safety in construction.   This year’s competition brief focuses on safety aspects relating to the construction of a windfarm project. 

Six teams have made it through to the 2013  final representing IT Carlow, Letterkenny IT, and NUIG.  The awards will be presented at the ceremony in the RDS on 7th March.

 

  • Winning team              Apple iPad for each member (3)
  • Runner up team          €600 per team
  • 4 x Finalist Teams       €300 per team

All teams will receive certificates and the top three placed teams’ submissions will be published on the Health and Safety Authority website. www.hsa.ie  All finalists’ projects will be on display on the day.
