John Dunne, the group financial controller of Harry Crosbie’s docklands property empire, has resigned as a director of the group.

New filings with the Companies Office show that Mr Dunne, who was group financial controller and a director of Henry A Crosbie (Entertainments), tendered his resignation as a director in May.

That was the month after NAMA moved to take control of the Point Theatre in Dublin as well as the Point Village, which had been developed by Mr Crosbie, on foot of €500m owed by his firms.

NAMA appointed receives to companies that own assets including the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, the Point Village hotel and cinema complex at the Point Depot in Dublin.
