CRH plc completes Philippines element of Lafarge-Holcim transaction

The final stage of the CRH transaction with Lafagre-Holcin has been completed. On 2 February 2015, CRH plc announced that it had reached agreement to acquire certain assets from Lafarge S.A. and Holcim Ltd for a total Enterprise Value of €6.5 billion.

On 3 August 2015, the Group confirmed that the majority of the transaction was complete, with the exception of the operations in the Philippines.

This latest acquisitions now more than doubles CRH’s cement production volumes and will further expand its aggregates and ready-mixed concrete portfolios.
