Kirby Group, a leading Irish-owned international multi-disciplinary engineering services contractor, has announced a strategic alliance with Mott MacDonald, a diverse €1.7bn global management, engineering and development consultancy.

Through the alliance, the companies will offer design services for construction projects involving energy transmission and distribution systems in Ireland.

Mott MacDonald will work with Kirby Group’s transmission and distribution systems division, a 50 strong team comprising highly skilled technicians carrying out electrical engineering works across a range of flagship projects in Ireland and abroad.

Kirby Group is a major player in the Irish construction industry. The organisation employs over 600 highly skilled staff with substantial operations in Dublin, Galway, Limerick, the UK and Europe. A further 250 people are employed by key subcontract partners.
