Griffin Brothers Contracting Ltd has announced that it has been successful in securing the contract to build the Cork Institute of Technology Sports Arena project.

This project will consist of a two storey multi-purpose building including an eight court sports hall with associated changing, storage, cafe, fitness suites, gym equipment areas, and fitness studios.

The multi-purpose nature of the building is designed to include sports events, conferences, exams, exhibitions and concerts and is to be used by both students and staff within CIT, as well as members of the public and wider community.

Contracts have been signed and works are scheduled to commence in the coming months.
